Financial Planning

The financial planning profession has been around formally for more than thirty years.

According to the College of Financial Planning and Financial Planning Association, financial planning is defined as a “multi-step process which focuses on the financial and physiological factors which impact a person’s or family’s life.”

The process considers all aspects of a client’s financial situation. These include, but are not limited to:

The financial planning process considers all of these topics as they impact a particular person’s life.

As financial planners, we work closely with clients to develop customized solutions that help meet their goals and dreams.

More than 35 years in this profession has taught us that achieving financial success for clients requires flexibility and a human touch.

Over the last several decades, many financial planners have concerned themselves too much with producing static, numbers-in, numbers-out financial plans.

To us, a financial plan is more than a multi-pound binder paper with charts and graphs and Monte Carlo simulations or asset allocation studies.

We view planning as a process that serves to create a blueprint for an investment lifetime, encompassing all aspects of a client’s financial life, from education funding to retirement planning to estate planning and much more.

Great financial plans must be dynamic and customized, and must address each client’s specific financial constraints and goals.

Successful retirement planning is what most people care about when it comes to mapping out and achieving their financial dreams.

Tesoro Capital Management works to achieve goal realization for clients in a thoughtful, prudent way, utilizing our vast financial planning experience coupled with a sensible investment discipline.
